Sentinel Publishing was established in 2005 to provide businesses with a high quality print medium advertising platform in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. D'ville Ads was our first publication and its popularity amongst readers and advertisers influenced our decision to expand the reach of our magazines to the Greater Cape Town area. As this couldn't be done under the D'ville Ads name we decided on a generic title that would be recognized and associated with all areas. The new suite of magazines was launched under the Showcase title in 2008 and was franchised in 2011. The Showcase magazine is currently distributed in 3 franchise areas, Southern Suburbs (Rondebosch,Claremont and Constantia), Northern Suburbs (Panorama, Welgemoed andDurbanville) and Far Northern Suburbs ( Bellville, Brackenfell & Kuils River).

In January 2011 we decided to launch the SME Commercial Magazine. This magazine is distributed to the Businesses in the Greater Cape Town area on a quarterly basis. In addition to our suite of printed magazines Sentinel Publishing also publishes the Digital Showcase, which looks and feels like a magazine without the paper. Readers receive the magazines by e-mail and can page through the magazine on their computer, cell phone or tablet. We have received numerous requests from readers to be added to our subscriber database and encourage you to also subscribe. Sentinel Publishing prides itself on the quality of its products. All the magazines are A4 in size and printed in full colour on premium quality paper.
